Sample Day in Madrid
Morning:
Begin your day with a guided tour of the Prado Museum, one of the world’s greatest art collections. Students explore masterpieces by Velázquez, Goya, and El Greco, while learning Spanish vocabulary connected to art and expression.
Afternoon:
Spend the day at the Retiro Park! We will play lawn games, enjoy a picnic lunch, and engage in a Spanish language lesson led by your group leaders. Learn vocabulary you’ll actually use—ordering food, chatting with locals, and asking for directions. Before leaving the park, put your skills to the test with a scavenger hunt in El Retiro.
Evening:
Embark on a tapas tour through local markets like Mercado de San Miguel and Mercado de San Antón, sampling favorite small plates while practicing your Spanish with vendors. The day ends with a group reflection and journaling session, where students share highlights and new vocabulary learned.

Sample Day – Barcelona Focus

After lunch at a local café, wander through Park Güell, discovering Gaudí’s colorful mosaics and whimsical designs. Take part in a mini Spanish lesson focusing on describing colors, shapes, and feelings inspired by art, all surrounded by panoramic city views.
Evening:
Gather in the Gràcia neighborhood for a traditional Catalan dinner before ending the evening with reflection and journaling session, where students record new Spanish phrases and reflect on creativity and culture.
